Hi, I’m Kami Brown and I love teaching Zumba classes!
I discovered my passion for dance in high school when I tried out for the dance team and made it! I didn’t even know I could dance!
Zumba is the perfect way to share my passion. I love putting smiles on people’s faces and watching them transform between my eyes into healthier, stronger people!
Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you’ll see what I mean. You don’t even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It’s easy!
Come try it. I guarantee you will have a blast! I look forward to meeting you!

I was born and raised in South Carolina. In 2011, I moved with my husband and our two young daughters to the gorgeous state of Oregon, and instantly fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Since having my first child in 2001, I have battled with my health and weight – often losing some just to gain back more the next round! In spring of 2011, I took my first Zumba class, and it has been a whirlwind since then. After seeing the amazing physical AND emotional results of Zumba and dance, I decided it was time to bring as much of that joy as I could to others. Teaching Zumba, I finally feel like I am where I belong! My goal is for every student to leave smiling – and sweaty – but, mostly smiling. Come dance with me!

I grew up taking Taekwondo and Kickboxing and I took my first Zumba class in 2007 and loved it from the very beginning. Although I had never danced before I was able to enjoy Zumba because of the unique blend of dance and fitness movements in routines made for anyone to be able to follow. I was inspired by several of my instructors and their passion for Zumba. I lost 20 lbs. doing Zumba and decided that I wanted to inspire others to be fit and healthy with Zumba.

I believe that Zumba is the best way to exercise because you can have fun while burning calories and it’s so easy to get lost in the music. It doesn’t matter if you have never danced before, all you have to do is come and be ready to join the Zumba party!
